HexaSawyer

HexaSawyer is a sound generating application for 64 bit Macintoshes running 10.8.5 and above. It allows the user to create four channels of synthesiszed sound using the OSX core audio built-in DLS MIDI synthesizer. Many aspects of the created music are under real-time user control, such as instrument, tempo, stereo balance (both L/R and 3D sound panning). HexaSawyer also provides a reverb effect, the ability to store settings of sound characteristics for later playback, and automatic variation of sound characteristics within user-defined ranges.
